Alexander Volkanovski and the UFC fanbase are still waiting to find out who he will defend his featherweight title against next.
Last April at UFC 314 Alexander Volkanovski, all the opportunities when he recaptured the UFC -Fedweight title in the main event and defeated Diego Lopes through a decision.
After the fight, Volkanovski revealed that he would like to defend his title against Movsar Evloev, then he was denied that fight when Evloev accepted to fight newcomer Aaron Pico.
UFC boss Dana White claimed that with a victory over Pico would be 'probably' to fight for the title, but given that he has beaten the Russian several times, it is not guaranteed.

Alexander Volkanovski overlooks Jean Silva during spontaneous cataracts
With the undefeated Russian for the time being from the title photo, rumors started to come up that the next title defense of Volkanovski would come against the former enemy, Yair Rodriguez.
Of course, fans did not take the news that the Mexican can get a title shot, since he is 2-2 in his last four fights.
And with that a hunter who has been presented by fans is the rising Jean Silva. 'Lord' Silva has won all five of his UFC steps in an extremely impressive way and rises to the status of the superstar.
However, it was recently announced that Silva will clash against the aforementioned Lopes in the main event of UFC Noche in September.
A victory over Lopes would undoubtedly secure the Brazilian a featherweight title shot, and not yet confirmed with the next fight by Volkanovski, he could rise to the top of the pile.
Volkanovski started to go back after too many fights quickly in succession and despite the fact that he would want to fight soon, he might have to wait until the end of the year.
Last Friday, Volkanovski ended up in a spontaneous face with Silva while the fighting nerds and Stadskickbokteams stared down each other.
Mauricio Ruffy was also confronted with Dan Hooker
Also as part of the VS Team Face OFF team, the rising lightweight competition Mauricio Ruffy was confronted with old lightweight competition than Hooker.
Ruffy recently shouted Benoit Saint-Denis as he looks at his climb of the 155LB division, but fans continued to call for a fight between Ruffy and 'Hangman' Hooker.
