England captain James McATee has been appointed player of the game for the UEFA European Under-210 Championship final 2025 after he helped his team to a 3-2 extra-time victory against Germany in Bratislava.
McATEE was chosen by the UEFA Technical Observer Group, who said: “James Mcatee had a big impact on the game. His positioning was always excellent and he made an enormous effort both attacking and defensive, allowing his colleagues to start.”
McATEE, who plays his club football for Manchester City, was again a row -presence for the young lions in their dramatic victory against Germany on Saturday. Perhaps his most striking moment of the night came when he shot Omari Hutchinson for the second in England, but his eye for a pass and calmness was clear everywhere.
