Alexandre Pantoja faces off with new no. 1 contender after choking rival to sleep at UFC 317

UFC champion Alexandre Pantoja has already prepared his next fight after his fourth consecutive defending defense.

Two title fights have looked at the UFC 317 International Vechtweek this year.

The Co-Main event for one of the largest fighting of the year is the flight weight championship. The ruling Alexandre Pantoja defended his title for the fourth time when he crossed paths with Kai Kara-France.

Pantoja and Kara-France fought for the first time in season 24 of 'The Ultimate Fighter', where the Pantoja champion won their exhibition in 2016 by decision.

The rematch could not have go differently.

Alexandre Pantoja chokes Kai Kara-France to keep the title in UFC 317 Co-Main event

Pantoja would not need the jury members for his rematch with Kara-France.

Pantoja, considered one of the best grapplers in the UFC, absolutely dominated Kara-France in the degree department.

Pantoja checked the striker for more than 7 minutes and landed 3 Takedowns over three rounds.

In round 3, Pantoja had the back of Kara-France and went quickly for the chake. Kara-France tried to fight his hands as well as possible, but the choke was inevitable.

Pantoja locked a tight core choke to finally tap Kara-France, who became unconscious immediately after the referee stopped the match. The face of Kara-France went directly into the canvas.

“One of the best flying weights of all time,” said Joe Rogan about Pantoja after his successful title defense on UFC 317.

Alexandre Pantoja to fight Joshua van van in the following title defense

Although Alexandre Pantoja has cleaned up the flight weight department, there is still a new competition that he still has to face.

Vechting on the Undercard, the 23-year-old Joshua earned from the next title fight in blood.

A hunter of Myanmar, the #12-ranking competitor, stepped in the short term to combat the #1 competition and former title-finaler Brandon Royval on UFC 317, weeks after his TKO victory on UFC 316.

Van delivered a beautiful 'Fight of the Night' version, in which Royval was beaten on the scor cards of the jury after three hard-fought rounds of action.

UFC CEO Dana White confirmed that Royval vs. A title eliminator was on Thursday and Van got a face-off with the Pantoja champion in the Octagon.

Van is one of the most active hunters of the UFC, with 6 fights in the past 11 months.
