Rampage Jackson says that Jake Paul is the reason he started watching boxing again

Paul was a name Quinton 'Rampage' that Jackson had on his hit list for a while, and took him out of the list mentioned after the retired boxer 'Butter' called Paul.

The former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion was not a fan of Paul who eliminated former champions such as Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley left and right.

Jackson told Paul this face-to-face and added that he 'reduced' the boxing sport.

Jake Paul says that his success 'inspired' other boxers to 'soften'

Paul generated quite a bit of interest in the months after the COVID-19 Pandemie in 2020.

The YouTuber boxer made waves when he eliminated NBA star Nate Robinson in the Co-Main event of Mike Tyson's return against Roy Jones Jr.

Paul continued to go knockdowns and knockouts and defeated people like Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, Mike Perry and Tyron Woodley (twice).

Paul thinks his success was a wake-up call to the sport.

“The fact that I started doing these big fights because I fought everyone everywhere, so that the fighting took place.

“I think that many other great fighters has inspired to be, oh, this child earns all this money in boxing, and he does larger numbers than we do. I actually have to fire and fight the most difficult man,” said Paul.

“You have literally seen since I came to the sport, all the big battles that we have been waiting for years and years, they started to happen because I think people were, oh, how the F -?

“How are we going to have this YouTuber boy done bigger figures than we do?” Paul added.
