Conor McGregor watched while Ilia Topuria successfully recorded the UFC Lightweight title on UFC 317 last Saturday.
After Islam Makhachev had left the title of 155 pounds, the UFC announced that Ilia Topuria would compete against Charles Oliveira for the vacant belt on UFC 317.
And last Saturday in the main event, Topuria Oliveira separated from consciousness with a huge right hand in the first round and became the new lightweight king.
Immediately after the fight, Topuria faced his potential opponent when Paddy Pimblett went into the cage for a spontaneous Staring.

Conor McGregor responds to the UFC 317 title profit of Ilia Topuria
With his victory, 'El Matador' joined a list of UFC greats to win a title in two separate weight classes, which became the 10th hunter to do this.
The list includes Conor McGregor, Daniel Cormier, Georges St-Pierre and others, and the Spaniard is now undoubtedly the largest current star in sport.
And now only a few hours away from his spectacular victory, 'the notorious' McGregor has responded with some surprising words of support.
“Congratulations on winning my old titles, Ilia! He said he will also let Paddy's head rest, haha fair play,” said McGregor.
“Good lightweight scrap that is also, in my opinion. UFC is back? Or do you still miss something? Three kos back on the back is very good. Nobody can deny the knockout. I like it (the rose).
“Bad luck for Charles. Styles do fights! You are a great and legendary UFC hunter. Rest,” McGregor continued.

The former support words of the former UFC -double champion came as a surprise given his earlier feud with the Spanish knockout outpartist.
'The Notorious' once claimed that he would 'overcome Topuria's head' after he was asked his opinion about Topuria during a live stream.
Topuria bites back at McGregor with a violent threat and warned him that if they ever crossed paths, he would be – he would go up.
Although that would probably be a huge fight in sport, there are no signs that McGregor returns quickly, despite continuous teasing.
