UFC 317 KO victim breaks silence after scary and controversial loss left him out cold for several minutes

Jack Hermansson has issued a statement on social media after his loss at UFC 317.

The long -term competitor of the middleweight returned on Saturday from a dismissal of 16 months.

It did not go well as Gregory Rodrigues brutally hurt him in the very first round.

UFC commentator Daniel Cormier complained about the referee when the lifeless body of Jack Hermansson was hit with a wild unnecessary follow-up hammer who left him for a few minutes immobile on the canvas after the recommended UFC 317 Prelim.

Jack Hermansson responds to KO -loss on UFC 317

Hermanson's ninth Pro-MMA loss led to a fiery debate among Vecht fans on social media.

Some called Rodrigues for his reckless behavior in the immediate aftermath of his KO -victory.

In the meantime, others focused on the failure of referee Herb Dean to protect Hermansson when he went out.

The man himself did not respond to one of the commotion around his fight when he broke his silence.

Instead, Hermansson took responsibility for a fight-ending 'error' and congratulated his opponent.

“It is not necessary to cover it,” he wrote alongside brutal images of the urgent Ko.

“I made a mistake. I was eliminated.

“Congratulations to my opponent @gregoryrodriguesmma, well done.

“Thanks to my team and supporters. I am coming back.”

Gregory Rodrigues refuses to say sorry

Rodrigues responded to the return on his 'unnecessary' follow-up punch during a press conference after the fight.

“First of all, I don't care what people think,” the Brazilian Ko artist stood on it.

“If you enter the cage, we sign the contract, we can do everything.

“Because if he was on the other side and he did the same, why do you get angry with him or something? He did his job.

“But I hope it's good. He is a warrior like me,” said Rodrigues about Hermansson.

'I'm not going to stop until the referee [says] Stop. I just did my job, and I will continue to do that.

“That's what I do. That's what he does, and it's what it is. That was my night.”
