Last weekend Real Madrid and Pachuca were engaged in controversy after Antonio Rudiger claimed that he had been racially abused by Gustavo Cabral, who is a captain of the Mexican side.
Rudiger claimed that Cabral called him a “blacks ***”, but this was disputed by the Pachuca player, who stated that he called the Real Madrid defender an “F ***** coward”. An investigation into the case was opened by FIFA, and that has since been aimed at Cabral.
The case is still ongoing, but Marca has reported that there is no indications at this stage that Cabral Racial Racial abused during last Sunday's game, which ended in a 3-1 win for 10-man Real Madrid.
