After defending his Bantamweight title at UFC 299, Sean O'Malley came to the microphone and called the new champion of the UFC the new featherweight champion.
'Suga' showed an interest in being confronted against Ilia Topuria by mentioning his name in his interview after the fight after his dominant victory over Marlon 'Chito' Vera.

In a video on his YouTube channel, O'Malley filmed his reaction to the main event of UFC 317, where he was stunned by the performance of Topuria.
