Manchester United has a number of players they found it difficult to load and Tyrell Malacia has now returned after PSV has chosen not to make his loan in a permanent move
Tyrell Malacia is the newest player who is struggling Manchester United to shift, because their rebuilding is impeded by a number of players in their books they cannot sell.
The Dutch defender was the first signing of Erik ten Hag three years ago, but he ended a horror time at Old Trafford and is an excess for requirements under Ruben Amorim. He was lent to PSV last year, but they do not want to sign him permanently – despite an option of £ 8.5 million to do this.
Malacia is for sale in Manchester, but currently no buyers have been hired for a player who has not been able to show his best football, largely due to injuries. After a positive first season, he has since managed only three league matches because of his horrible happiness.
The 25-year-old was excluded 18 months after a meniscus tear, a failed operation, which then led to another operation when he underwent a long-term rehabilitation process.
That is unlikely to encourage buyers and United may need to accept a Cut-Price deal to just get Malacia from their books, which will probably be a problem during their summer window.
