Luis Diaz: Liverpool forward wanted by Bayern Munich adding to interest from Barcelona and Al Nassr

Bayern Munich has added Liverpool Luis Diaz to their list of left-wing goals, according to Sky in Germany.

They want to sign a player in that position and have explored a deal.

At this stage there was no contact with Liverpool with Diaz, one of a number of options that Bayern is looking at.

Barcelona had made an approach for the 28-year-old earlier this month, which is also interesting for the Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr.

Diaz, who has been talking about his deal for two years, says he is happy to see the rest of his contract in Liverpool.

Speaking while he was gone with Colombia in international duty, Diaz said: “I am very, very happy in Liverpool. From the first day they really made me welcome.

'At the moment we have contact with them because we are talking [other] Clubs. It is normal, the market is open and we try to find out what is best for us.

“I just wait to see what is happening. If Liverpool does not make a good offer, I will have two years left with them, I would be happy and be satisfied to stay there.

“And that's it, everything clearly depends on it, it's up to me to decide what's best for us and the future.”

Diaz was an important part of Liverpool's Premier League title win last season, because he scored 13 goals and offered five assists.

The attacker moved from Porto to Anfield in January 2022 in a deal with a value of a maximum of £ 49 million.

He scored 41 goals in 148 performances in all competitions for Liverpool and won the Premier League, the FA Cup and two competition cups.

Carra distributed on Diaz Future

Sky Sports' Jamie Carragher speaks at the beginning of May:

“It is an interesting, in which I think you could turn a currency around with some people who say they would love him to sign a new contract and some say it might be the time you get money for him because he is at a good age.

“I think Luis Diaz has been one of the best left wings in the Premier League this season. I don't think he's rather Sadio Mane, so I think Liverpool supporters still think that we have not completely replaced Mamee, but how many of them are there about it?

“If I'm honest, for the most part of this season until Christmas, I thought you're selling Diaz in the summer.

“The way he played and the way in which the front line of Liverpool can change and with the fact that he can play through the middle of the manager's eyes, he will now stay and I think it might be other players who continue in the front line instead of Diaz.”

Sky Sports to show 215 Live PL games next season

From next season, the Premier League coverage of Sky Sports will increase from 128 games to at least 215 games that are exclusively live.

And 80 percent of all Premier League matches broadcast on television will be on Sky Sports next season.
