UFC Flyweight title holder Alexandre Pantoja is open for a collision with bantam weight Juggernaut Merab Dvalishvili.
Alexandre Pantoja turned another top flying weight candidate on UFC 317 when he submitted Kai Kara-France in the third round of their Co-Main event Title fight. Pantoja, one of the best pound-for-pound hunters in MMA, is firmly in the flying weight goat conversation after his latest dominant performance.
Pantoja is probably set for a confrontation with UFC 317 star Joshua van for his next flying weight defense. Van Beron Royval defeated a notice period of weeks by a unanimous decision in a 'Fight of the Year' community service.
But Pantoja has another unique idea in mind for one of the greatest potential battles in the UFC history.

Alexandre Pantoja answers calls to go to Bantamweight to fight against Merab Dvalishvili
UFC Bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili is one of the most popular stars of promotion after completing Sean O'Malley in their UFC 316 Rematch earlier this month. While Dvalishvili Cory Sandhagen has on his radar for later this year, he is interested in having big fights.
Some have speculated whether or not Pantoja would stop cutting to fly to fly and make the full -time switch to Bantam weight to challenge a second title. For the first time Pantoja expressed the willingness to fight against Dvalishvili, but not under the circumstances that expect the most.
In a recent appearance on the Ariel Helwani show, Pantoja was pressed over a potential move to Bantam weight to fight against Dvalishvili.
“Talks money,” said Pantoja.
“If the UFC wants to do something crazy, make a BMF [belt] And make it 10 pounds. I, Merab, why not?
'I don't have to leave my [flyweight] Calls, and it makes it fairer. “
This is not the first time that a UFC hunter has shown a second BMF championship. Various female UFC stars want the promotion to create a female BMF title, including Rose Namajunas and Kayla Harrison.
Before Dvalishvili challenged the UFC Bantamweight title, he was potentially teased down to fly to prevent him from encountering his old friend and teammate Aljamain Sterling. But after Sterling was lost to O'Malley on UFC 292, Dvalishvili played those plans.
Cory Sandhagen shared a unique game plan to deduct Merab Dvalishvili
Dvalishvili will encounter one of the most dangerous contenders of the Bantam weight division for his next defending defense. Sandhagen, who was Cageide when Dvalishvili defeated O'Malley on UFC 316 earlier this month, is planning to follow a unique approach to resolve the puzzle of the Bantamweight champion.
In a recent interview with Joe Rogan, Sandhagen spoke about focusing on conquering his own demons, instead of worrying about the challenges that Dvalishvili presents. Sandhagen returned to the profit column by beating Diveson Figueiredo at UFC des Moines earlier this year.
With Dvalishvili and Pantoja who are confronted with high tasks in their next title defense, a Supervecht will probably not take place quickly. But while their star power continues to rise, don't be surprised if Pantoja and Dvalishvili end up on a collision course.
