Dustin Poirier says goodbye to fighting while he prepares for his last fight ever before retirement on UFC 318.
It will be the third time that Dustin Poirier collides with Max Holloway in the UFC, where Poirier wins both meetings earlier in their career.
Poirier goes back to raise his family while welcoming his son in the world very quickly and says goodbye to the fighting world with a last hurray against one of his greatest rivals.

What time is UFC 318?
UFC 318 takes place in the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, on July 19, 2025.
The event is expected to start with the early preliminaries at 6:00 pm (ET), 3:00 PM (PT) and 11:00 pm (BST).
Then the preliminaries at 8:00 pm (ET), 5:00 PM (PT) and 01:00 am (BST).
Following from this, the main map arrives at 10 p.m., 7 p.m. (PT) and 3:00 AM (BST).
How to view and stream UFC 318?
In the US, the UFC 318 Early Prelims will be available to look at the UFC Fight Pass from 18:00 (et) and 3:00 pm (PT).
The preliminary rounds can be viewed on ESPN, while both the prelims and the main map can be streamed via ESPN+. The PPV costs viewers $ 79.99 to view it completely.
In the United Kingdom, fans can view the UFC 317 prelims through the UFC Fight Pass from 11 p.m. (BST) before they switch to TNT sports from 1 p.m. (BST) for the coverage of the main map.

Dana White confirmed that UFC 318 was being built around Dustin Poirier
It is no surprise that the UFC 318 card will be built around a legend like Poirier, but it is nice that UFC boss Dana White has confirmed it.
In a recent interview in a New Orleans News Show, Dana White confirmed that the long -awaited return from UFC to 'The Big Easy' was only one reason.
“Dustin Poirier is a big star for us,” White told WDSU News. “He has achieved a lot in sport. This is for him to be honest with you. This is for him. He wanted to have his last fight and end his career in New Orleans, so here we are.”
UFC 318 will make Poirier's 32nd and last fight of his incredible career in the UFC.
