Dustin Poirier has the chance to break records in his last fight while he prepares to make his bow in the UFC.
Poirier has announced that UFC 318 will be his last event, because he withdraws from the sport to spend more time with his family.
“The Diamond” will fight against Max Holloway in a trilogy fight in Louisiana and ended his career in his hometown against a man who has defeated Poirier twice before.
He will have faith in a victory at the event, so Poirier could break a record to cement himself as a UFC legend.

Dustin Poirier can break the lightweight knock record record by beating Max Holloway
Poirier can be the record holder of all time for most knockouts in the UFC Lightweight Division if he can stop Holloway on UFC 318.
“The Diamond” already has nine knockouts of TKOs in his lightweight career, which together with Drew Dober together is at the top of the list.
Dober has held the record since his 2023 victory over Ricky Glenn, although Poirier matched him by eliminating Benoit St Denis on UFC 299.
