Marcus Rashford could get an escape route from his Manchester United Nightmare by the German giants Bayern Munich.
Bundesliga champions Bayern have emerged as shock candidates to sign United Outcast Rashford, which is not part of the future plans of head coach Ruben Amorim. Rashford spent the second half of last season on loan in Aston Villa, after he had gotten out of favor of Amorim about the observed lack of focus and application of the attacker in training.
Villa refused to record an option to sign Rashford for £ 40 million at the end of the loan agreement, which confronted the 27-year-old next week with an awkward return to United to start the preseason. That has left the door open for other clubs to move to Rashford, with Bayern -Baas Vincent Kompany about a movement for the English star, according to reports from Germany.
Bayern would be impressed by the return of Rashford to form in Villa, where he scored four goals and gave six assists before his season ended prematurely due to injury.
Kompany wants to strengthen his attack this summer and Rashford would be on his radar, which could see the United Star connect with England captain Harry Kane in Bayern.
Rashford's £ 300,000 a week wages are the biggest obstacle for him who are a permanent step away from United this summer, with the chance that he must do a wage reduction for this.
If he is not willing to purchase a wage reduction or clubs are unable to match its current wages, Rashford – who is happy to move to Barcelona – will have little other choice to go on loan.
Bayern wants to add further firepower this summer to their attack from wide areas. Michael Olise has been shining at Crystal Palace last summer and is the first choice along their right side, but things are much less clear left.
Leroy Sane left to join Galatasaray, while Serge Gnabry has not succeeded in really impress Kompany, who also prefers to use the ex-Arsenale man as the second striker. However, he is really a backup in that position to Jamal Musiala, who took the number 10 shirt after the exit of Sane.
Kingsley Coman remains the number 1 choice of the left, but the Frenchman continues to have injury problems, so that Kompany wants to add another option.
