Kennedy Nzechukwu continues to impress as a heavyweight
Kennedy Nzechukwu looked good at light heavyweight without posing a threat to elite fighters.
Since moving up to heavyweight, the 6-foot-4 knockout artist has looked like a much more dangerous prospect.
Fan favorite Charles Bennett was stopped in one round by Nzechukwu at UFC 308 in October.
At UFC 310, he made it look easy when he defeated Łukasz Brzeski with a perfect right hook.
'The Bull', who has lost five of his six fights since joining Dana White's promotion, fell to the ground.
Nzechukwu hit him with three huge ground strikes before the referee stepped in to wave it away.
Excited UFC fans quickly took to social media to name the 32-year-old as a future star.
One fan said: “Kennedy Nzechukwu looks really good as a heavyweight!”
Another raved: “THAT WAS A CRAZY FRIGGIN KO.”
A third person added: “This guy is legit!”
Someone else commented: “This man is the future.”
Kennedy Nzechukwu reveals that the doctor caused the weight gain
Joe Rogan wanted to focus on Kennedy Nzechukwu's heavyweight move after the fight at UFC 310.
The popular commentator asked Nzechukwu how he feels now that he has not lost weight.
It prompted the latest heavyweight contender to reveal what prompted his division change.
'The doctor said [cutting to light heavyweight] was endangering my health and would be bad in the long run. That's the decision [to move up a division] was based on,” said Nzechukwu.
“Now my liver is no longer damaged. I have healed a lot and I have paid a lot of attention to my attack.
“It's just progress from here. I just want to grow from here. I just want to stay busy next year.”
