Arsenal did work this summer on Deals for Viktor Gyokees and Benjamin Sesko, but their number 1 Spits -target has now apparently come to light with a deal of a deal
It is now said of Arsenal that it is in advanced conversations with Sporting Lisbon about a deal for Viktor Gyokeres with a movement for Benjamin Sesko apparently on the Backbuari.
The top priority of the Gunners this summer is to sign a new new striker and Gyokeres and Sesko are considered their two top goals. Both are expected to leave their respective clubs before the 2025-26 campaign, but so far it was unclear who Arsenal intends to pursue a mega money transfer.
And it is Gyokees, instead of Sesko, who, according to a new report from Europe, seems to be in Emirates.
Sky Sports claims that Arsenal and Sporting are now in 'Advanced Talks' over a blockbuster deal in which Gyokeres, 27, the Portuguese Primeira Liga for the Premier League would exchange.
And with club-to-club conversations, it is said that Gyokees and Arsenal have already agreed a five-year-old deal for the Swede.
It is said of Arsenal that it feels that the 'Slotlijn' is now in sight after he left a deal for Sesko, which was reached heavily last summer before signing a new contract with RB Leipzig.
Despite the suggestions that Sesko was the preferred chair of Mikel Arteta, speculation has refused to leave a movement for Gyokeres.
For his part, the striker would like to become a member of Arsenal, despite rival interest of Manchester United, who is said to follow a deal for Hugo Ekitike van Eintracht Frankfurt. Gyokees has also rejected a lucrative contract offer worth £ 11 million a year from Juventus because of his preference for Arsenal, who is looking for quality reinforcements to strengthen a team that ended second for a third consecutive season previous term.
There is apparently no way back for sporting and gyokeres with the striker said that he was furious in the club after they had taken a men's agreement to sell the striker for a price that is considerably lower than his release clause.
Sporting Lisbon President Federico Varandas recently said: “Sports are calm about this issue. Secondly, Sport does not have to sell Viktor Gyokeres. Fortunately we are beyond the sale of our main active.
“However, we remain sensitive to the dreams of Viktor or that of another athlete. Sport has made a commitment that after weeks of meetings we will not demand the full amount of the clause; we will be reasonable with regard to the requested amount for Viktor.
“Today there is a strong chance that he will leave. I will not reveal the amount, but the player knows what it is. I can say that Viktor will not leave for 60+10m. He will not leave, absolutely not.
“We have paid attention in recent weeks. I saw a player, [Martin] Zubimendi, who is six months younger than Viktor, goes for 65 million, and I saw Matheus Cunha moving to Manchester United for around 75 million euros. We are talking about players who are 26 years old. I believe that Viktor could leave unless he has the worst agent in the world, whom I do not believe, because his agent is one of the best in the world. “
