Arsenal transfer news: Target date for Gunners to sign a striker

The transfer trade of Arsenal is underway – finally.

The £ 5 million arrival of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea is their first income of the summer, among the new sports director Andrea Berta. But this will of course not be enough to finally overcome the bump in the Premier League.

Midfielders Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard will be the next door – together with around £ 60 million together. And then it is on the really big needs: striker and left wing player.

Arsenal is linked to a large number of names in both positions, but must start limiting the training for the season that will start next week.

We have made the call for your questions about all things about the club, while this summer they want to make large waves and end their long, long waiting time for a league title.

And here our Arsenal expert Isaan Khan has answered them all.

When do you think Arsenal will complete the deal for a striker? (@Afci4i)

The target of Mikel Arteta is that a striker is drawn before Arsenal flies to Singapore on July 19 for their pre-season tour through Asia.

So I would imagine that a deal was closed or very close to the completion of the week of July 14. That would enable the signature to go well into the team and to learn the extensive Playbook of Arteta prior to the new season.

I understand that a striker will certainly be signed in this window, which will be a sigh of relief for Arsenal supporters who have been shouting for it since last summer.

The names in the frame, as you will now know, unless you have lived on Mars, are Red Bull Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP and – furthermore the pecking order – Ollie Watkins in Aston Villa.

Hello Isaan, is there a chance that Arsenal will receive both Ebereechi and Rodrygo this summer? (@Fai9alafc)

There is an opportunity, but a lot has to go the way of Arsenal to make that happen. The club had conversations with Eze's representatives on Saturday, where the player is also important for Tottenham.

The Crystal Palace man would undoubtedly add Flair to the game of the Gunners in the attacking third and further depth to their team, and an option in both the 'left eight' position and the left wing. He mainly plays as one of Oliver Glasner's two no 10s in Palace.

Eze, who started his academic career at Arsenal before being released at the age of 13, is supposed to be enthusiastic about the move, which would be a complete circle moment for the attacker.

The situation around Rodrygo from Real Madrid has been made more interesting because of the World Cup of Club. He only played 23 minutes in the last three games.

The interest of Arsenal in the player is well documented and these recent developments in a lack of playing time can open the door for the gunners who follow the situation.

In general, however, although the addition of a left wing player is desired, but it is a striker that is the priority.

Is there a chance that Arsenal will get Alexander Isak? (@Miano21642488)

Arteta is a big fan of Isak, who was his favorite striker, but the chances that a deal that occurs are indeed very small.

Newcastle who secured Champions League football for next season was an important factor – and there is interest from other clubs, including Liverpool.

At the same time, the Toon Club is trying to bind Isak to a new deal that would make him the best-paid Newcastle player in history with a salary above £ 150,000 a week.

It just would not be wise to pour their time and effort into an ignorable situation, and that is why Arsenal is so focused on landing of Sesko or Gyokees.

Should Arsenal Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli Sale sell to bring in Rodrygo and/or Eze? (@Afcmatt09)

Not necessary. As reported by Mail Sport, Leandro Trossard is in conversation about a new deal until 2029. If he agreed these conditions, the Belgian 30-year-old would be a fringe player.

Gabriel Martinelli is still the NO 1 choice at the left wing player, so if Rodrygo arrived, the couple would compete for that position. It would be a healthy situation for the club that still sees really potential in Martinelli. It is not a case of Martinelli or Rodrygo. Both can co -exist in the same team.

Should we expect a big sale and would we sign two more players from the sale? (@Officialelsamo)

If a big offer came in for a first team starter such as Martinelli, Arsenal would consider the offer. But apart from that, I don't expect a big sale of a player in the first team.

Instead, Fringe players Reiss Nelson and Oleksandr Zinchenko, who both earn more than £ 100,000 a week, Jakub Kiwior, Fabio Vieira and Albert Sambi Lokonga are all contrary to the outputs.

And yes, it makes sense that all income can be reinvested. But let's look.

Shall we see another midfielder participating in their own way with Christian Norgaard and Martin Zubimendi, now that Thomas Peny's contract has expired? (@Paulomarti71171)

That is unlikely. With Norgaard and Zubimendi who join Brentford and Real Sociedad respectively, other positions are the priority. Striker is the No. 1 focus and then a further attacking player.

Midden Rug Cristhiane Mosquera is expected to draw from Valencia, and a full back can be well considered if Zinchenko, as expected, leaves the club.

The signature of another midfielder would surprise me.

What is the expectation with Max Dowman? Do we have to expect a good amount of minutes for him? (@AFCMTXX)

Max Dowman is in the plans of Arteta in the midfield plan for next season.

In a press conference in May, Arteta was asked about depth when attacking midfield. He did not mention Lenslee Vieira in Porto or the need to enter the transfer market. Instead, he checked Dowman.

And in January he said about the young person: 'Some things he does in training are incredible, he is clearly a player with a huge talent that we convince a lot that we can develop him to become one of us. And he is doing very well so far. '

The 15-year-old goes on Arsenal's pre-season tour through Asia, who will be an important measure of how involved he could be for next season.

He will also be available for UEFA Youth League matches for the Under 19S, played against the respective youth sides of Arsenal's Champions League opponents. He was one of the star players of the club in the competition last season.

He quickly escalated levels in this campaign, from playing for younger than 18 years to the journey of the first team to Dubai. If he continues in the same spirit, one or two from the bank of the bank is definitely a possibility.
