Legend Nemanja Vidic from Manchester United has unveiled the only player with whom he had a 'bust-up' in the dressing room during his successful eight-year-old Stint at Old Trafford.
Vidic, who is generally considered one of the best center-backs in United of the Premier League era, joined him Red Devils in 2006 and won five top flights and a Champions League for his exit to Inter Milan in 2014.
The Serbian settled as a tough, no-nonsense figure around the training field and channeled this grim mentality on the field, and became an integral part of the eternal champions of Sir Alex Ferguson next to Center-Rugpartner Rio Ferdinand.
His behavior and approach to training did not always land well with some of his teammates, as former United goalkeeper Ben Foster explained in 2020, that Vidic was 'Eng' and 'terrible' during sessions in Carrington.
But despite his confrontational reputation, Vidic has insisted that he has only experienced one dressing room 'bust' with a teammate during his enchantment in Manchester.
About the overlap, offered by Sky Bet, the former defender said: “At Manchester United I had one bust in the dressing room and that was at Anderson.”
Former Brazilian midfielder Anderson was also eight years in Manchester United between 2007 and 2015, more than 100 performances at the time.
The Serbian wanted to play down the incident, added: 'It was something on the field and was then transferred to the dressing room. It was no problem. '
Fans of Red Devils are perhaps somewhat surprised to hear that Vidic did not refer to the notorious Fall -Out he had with former Manchester United captain Patrice Evra.
Four years ago the Frenchman opened how he and Vidic refused to talk for three months after having argued as teammates.
According to Evra, it even led Ferguson Ferdinand to switch to the left side of the defense to separate them on the football field.
After they had opened their friendship with Man United, the former left back told the club website in 2021: 'To be honest, we also fought. We had a fight, me and him, and did not speak for three months.
“We played together and we didn't even say a word. I never told him that he had to go to the left or go to the right. He was the same. Ferguson had to exchange Rio Ferdinand to play with me on the left.
'It was three months until, after a competition, I remember that he came to me in the dressing room and gave me a high-five. Everyone was like “finally” because we were the best friends together, Vida and me. We have a deep story together. '
The couple experienced a new fall-out after the exit of Ferguson, involved in a furious bust during a 3-0 defeat against bitter rivals Liverpool under David Moyes.
Vidic, who was sent away after receiving two yellow cards from referee Mark Clattenburg, accused Evra to neglect his defensive tasks by exposing him.
The Frenchman is said to have exploded with anger and had to be stopped by Moyes and other employees, because the incident threatened to cook at the United's Carrington's training basis.
Next year a decade will take place since Vidic withdrew from the game, and the 43-year-old has admitted that he would like to keep the chance to be involved in football in a certain capacity.
Speaking about what the next step is for him, Vidic added: “I open an opportunity to become a coach, or to work in football as a sports director, or even the Serbian president of the FA – that was the plan a few years ago – it did not happen, but maybe it could happen in the future.”
Earlier in the podcast he admitted that Manchester United would be his dream job if he were to record management or coaching.
'If I managed or coach someone, it should be Manchester United. I love things when they are difficult and change something from difficult to good, this is something I like to do, “he said.
