UFC Middleweight Ster Bo Nickal returns to his roots while waiting to draw his UFC decay.
Bo Nickal suffered one of the most shocking defeats of the year when he was eliminated by Reinier de Ridder at UFC des Moines. The Blue-Chip MMA front view dominated its earlier fights, including in recent victories over Val Woodburn and Cody Brundage.
Nickal is planning to return to the Octagon later this year against an opponent to be determined. After he fell to De Ridder, Nickal's striving hit a place in the middleweight top 15 a big setback, but another victory or two could bring him closer to the rankings.
In the meantime, Nickal will use his elite wrestling base while preparing for his return on 30 August Combat Sports.

As Nickal announced on Wednesday in the Ariel Helwani show, he signed with Upstart Wrestling Promotion Real American Freestyle for a Multi-Fight Deal. He will debut on August 30 for the promotion against an opponent to be received.
“At the end of the day, my contract with the UFC, I am going to fight with them with them and then I think there is room for me at the same time to compete in struggling,” Nickal said.
“You see many boys doing jiu-jitsu competitions or wherever it is. I just have the fire to compete as much as possible and realistically fighting with fighting, I get two fights a year. Raf is led by WWE legend Hulk Hogan. The inaugural event of the promotion will take place in Cleveland, OH on August 30, although it is uncertain whether Nickal will serve as the headliner of the card.
Before launching his MMA career in 2022, Nickal made himself a household name in freestyle struggling. Nickal is considered one of the biggest competitors in the NCAA Division I Wrestling History and wins three national championship titles in Penn State.
Nickal also revealed that he focuses on a UFC recovery in October or November. He did not mention a specific opponent in mind for his UFC Comback, who will probably take place against another not -not -midal weight.

Nickal did not let his doubters go unanswered after his shocking UFC des Moines defeat. Critics such as colleague UFC Middenweight Joe Pyfer have been critical of Nickal in recent months, and Nickal recently said that he is planning to 'keep coupons' while to regain this next chapter of his MMA career.
Former UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold went one step further and Nickal labeled as 'pathetic' and 'Not a Real Fighter'. Rockhold has not fought in MMA since a loss for Paulo Costa on UFC 278.
Before he fell to De Ridder, Nickal won two fights from the Contender Series of Dana White and was unbeaten by seven MMA performances. He made his UFC debut against Jamie Pickett on UFC 285 and won the first round entry.
