Carlos Prates is said to be weeks removed from making his UFC communback while he wants to go back in the Welterweight Title Mix.
Prates, one of the many top names from the 'Fighting Nerds' team of Brazil, has not fought against Ian Machado Garry in UFC Kansas City earlier this year since a main event. The loss broke a 11-fog winning series, including recent victories over people like Neil Magny and Li Jingliang.
The former Dana White's Contender Series -Surprising is said to have to wait long to return to the Octagon.

Carlos Prates dropped out for the first fight since the first UFC loss suffers from Ian Machado Garry
As reported for the first time by MMA journalist Laerte Viana, the UFC focuses on prates to Geoff Neal opposite the Dricus du Persis vs. Khamzat Chimaev Undercard on UFC 319. Prates and Neal had to be closed in the UFC 314 earlier this year.
Neal has not fought anymore since a TKO victory at former UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael Dos Anjos on UFC 308 in October. For that, Neal Back-to-Back battles lost to Garry and Shavkat Rakhmonov.
At the moment an announcement about Neal vs. Prates not done by the UFC matchmakers, but that could come the following weeks. UFC 319 marks the long -awaited return of the promotion to Chicago after an absence of six years.
UFC 319 also contains the middleweight return of Michael 'Venom' page against former title Challenger Jared Cannonier. A lightweight matchup between Paddy Pimblett and Justin Gaethje has been rumors for UFC 319 in recent days before Pimblett cleaned up the air on social media.
