While a tribute enter Diogo Jota after reports of his tragic death in a car accident, Portugal teammate Rúben Neves shared an emotional message on social media.
Neves wrote a black background with white text and wrote in Portuguese:
“Dizem que só perdemos as pessoas quando nos esquecemos delas. Eu nunca in vou esquecer!”
Translated:
“They say we only lose people if we forget them. I will never forget you!”
