On this day in 2011, Dominick Cruz decided the score with his greatest rival.
Many still consider 'The Dominator' as the largest Bantamweight of all time, even as Merab Dvalishvili that could close.
While his return to the Octagon in 2016, where Cruz recovered the 135 pound title, was perhaps his most impressive performance, it was his first run in the promotion that showed that he was at a different level.
UFC 132 contained some remarkable highlights, including Chris Leben's 27 seconds knockout over Wanderlei Silva and Tito Ortiz's enormous upset against Ryan Bader.
However, it was the most important event of the evening that the fight of the Nachthonours won after Cruz started his title line in the Octagon.
Dominick Cruz threw his only loss by beating Urijah Faber in the first Bantamweight title fight
In his 10th pro -fight, the unbeaten record of Dominick Cruz would end after he was submitted by Urijah Faber on WEC 26, making a feud of starting, many of which still believe it is one of the best in the history of sport.
'The Dominator' would bounce back in style after he had gone of featherweight and compiled a profit reak that led him to the WEC title.
Completed with WEC together with the UFC in October 2010, on WEC 53, Cruz Scott Jorgensen defended his belt successfully for the second time and at the same time winning the inaugural UFC Bantamweight Championship.
The first UFC Bantamweight title fight was a No Brainer for the promotion with Cruz and Faber who were two of the biggest names in the division that were already rivals
At UFC 132 the second chapter of their rivalry took place, but a lot had changed in the four years since their first meeting in the WEC.
Faber was still very successful in a competitive fight that went the full five rounds, but this time it was Cruz who got his hand because his incredibly unique style turned out to be too much for 'The California Kid'.
The Bantam weight division of the UFC had started well, although Cruz would defend the title only once before he was forced to leave it due to injuries.

Dominick Cruz closed his rivalry with Urijah Faber with a dominant show in their trilogy
UFC 132 was not the last time Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber shared the Octagon.
In 2016, after Cruz had recovered the Bantamweight title by beating Faber's former student TJ Dillashaw, they were matched for UFC 199 where the champion made a statement.
Cruz won all five of the rounds on two of the score cards to close the trilogy and finally brought their feud to bed before his reign was ended by another Van Faber's former students, Cody Garbrandt.
After UFC 199, the two former rivals have shared a number of respectful encounters over the years and left the past, although 'the Dominator' rarely allows everyone to defeat him in a fight.
