Brock Lesnar proved that he was a real UFC champion in 2010, at the expense of his destroyed opponent at UFC 116.
The former WWE champion shocked everyone when he made the leap from professional wrestling to MMA and easily dominated the Octagon.
Brock Lesnar hit Randy Couture in his fourth fight to become the UFC heavyweight champion, something that people would have found unthinkable when he lost his debut.
His title government was somewhat spoiled by Lesnar's life -threatening diagnosis of diverticulitis, which limited him to only one fight in 2009 when he came close to death in a hospital bed.
He recovered enough to face Shane Carwin on UFC 166, where the interim champion made a big mistake that cost him the world title against “The Beast Incarnate”.

Shane Carwin made a fatal mistake when he tried to beat Brock Lesnar
Shane Carwin had a plan to beat Lesnar during their title Unification Fight on UFC 166, all of whom went wrong as soon as the bell to end the first round sounded.
The Hard Carwin won the interim title while Lesnar was out with his illness and tried to finish the former WWE champion when he got his shot at “The Beast” in the Octagon.
He pulled Lesnar with everything he had and chased him around the octhoek before he bleed him with some of the most brutal fists you will ever see.
The resilient lesnar, however, managed to take everything Carwin had. Carwin gave everything he had in the first round, making him easy to get and choke to win the fight in the second.
Going too fast was Carwin's fault, as he admitted in an interview after the defeat against Lesnar.
Carwin told SiriusXM that he “waited for him to die” in the first round, to go everything in and have nothing left to give in the second round.
He said: “My body just started to close. I just waited for him to die, and he would not die on me.
“So, you know, I have exercised, I think, all my energy and everything to finish it in the first round.
“I just remember my body delayed, and I think it was just, you know, tried to catch oxygen. I went back to my corner and I said to my coach, I said,” Yes, I have no legs. “
“Of course he did his job to pump me up, but there is no nonsense when you sit there and you know what's going on.”
Lesnar almost conquered death in the year for this fight, which gave him the grit and determination to overcome a brutal blow in the first round to win this incredible UFC fight.
Brock Lesnar lost his next two fights before he left UFC for five years
The victory over Carwin was Lesnar's most impressive and inspiring, but unfortunately it would be his last taste of victory in the Octagon.
The former WWE champion suffered a first round knockout to Cain Velasquez, just a few months after Carwin's victory, which ended his reign as the UFC Heavyweight Champion.
Lesnar succeeded with a defeat against Alistair Overeem the following year, where a strong kick in the stomach emphasized the diverticulitis problems of Lesnar and saw him make the decision to withdraw from MMA.
His first run in the UFC lasted only three years and more than seven fights, but Lesnar remains one of the biggest draws that the promotion has been in the heavyweight division.
Lesnar won his comeback fight on UFC 200 in 2016, but his victory was turned into a NO match after he had tested positively at Clomiphene after beating Mark Hunt.
