Jake Paul was called by one of the greatest boxers of all time – but it seems unlikely that he will answer.
The controversial YouTuber boxer is now a top 15 WBA Cruiserweight after his victory over Julio Cesar Chavez JR on Saturday evening. As a result, he is qualified to fight for the world title of Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez and is called to the left, right and in the middle.
One of the hunters who wants to come in Paul -Fight is the legendary Roy Jones JR, who continued to compete years after his heyday of the world championship. After the controversy around his record -breaking fight with Mike Tyson last year, it is unlikely that Paul will answer the call.

A sharp viewer in the boxing career of Jake Paul is several weight weight former former world champion Roy Jones Jr. The social media star appeared on his undercard when he fought against Tyson in 2020, and he now wants part of the action.
Asked how far he feels that Paul comes from a world title during a recent performance at the IBA convention, Jones said he was only two fights of gold. “I'll tell you something, do you know what would be exciting?” He then asked.
“You see, I should be a boxing promoter, I do something, but they don't let you in the big lane. But Jake Paul would be in the position, Roy Jones JR has two or three fights to come back and he never got the real cruiserweight world title.
“Jake Paul wants that cruiserweight, real world title. Wow … someone fires and they fight for a vacant world cruiserweight title.”

Prior to his fight with Tyson, Paul started pursuing a legitimate boxing run in which he took on lesser -known names with impressive professional archives. He faced Ryan Bourland and Andre August, which he accepted in withheld things prior to his blockbuster confrontation with Tyson.

Although neither Bourland nor Augustus were star names, they had legitimate details of 17-2 and 10-1-1. Those victories, in combination with his victory over former middleweight Chavez JR on Saturday evening, was enough to have the WBA Paul put in their rankings.
“I worked hard to get here, but there is nothing to celebrate,” Paul wrote on X after learning the news. “Long way ahead and I am more committed to it every day. I can occasionally take the path, but as a world champion is my desired ultimate destination.”
