‘Count me in!’… Conor McGregor teases UFC return following President Donald Trump’s major announcement

The recent announcement of the president about organizing a UFC event has attracted the interest of the greatest star in the sport.

During a meeting on 3 July, Donald Trump claimed that the White House will organize a UFC event next year to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States on July 4, 2026.

With Trump stating that 25,000 people will be present, you would expect that a number of huge fights have been booked for such a milestone.

Fans have already suggested that Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall could finally happen to logical for an American hunter to surpass the bill.

However, there is another name that has the status to give a first event of its kind and it was not long before Conor McGregor's ears rose.

Conor McGregor has been more concerned with the BKFC company for some time than his own fighting career.

'The Notorious' has not left the Octagon since UFC 264 in July 2021 after he withdrew from his comeback fight with Michael Chandler who was planned for June last year.

That could change as a result of the announcement of President Donald Trump with regard to the White House that hosts the Octagon.

McGregor posted about the announcement on X before he briefly followed a photo of him and Trump together.

After recently asking if the UFC was back last weekend after UFC 317, the former Champkamp has shown its interest to fight for the president on the Independence Day of next year.

Conor McGregor will make an important announcement at a press conference next week

On July 3, BKFC announced that on July 10 in Hollywood, Florida, they will organize a press conference 'State of the Promotion'.

In addition to the champions of the promotion that are all present, the press release that Conor McGregor will be there to make a “groundbreaking” announcement.

It is not yet clear what this announcement entails, although it seems unlikely that it provides 'the notorious' that returns to combat sports.

McGregor's announcement could easily be a new partnership for BKFC, a new important signature or the details of an upcoming map.
