Manchester United wants to sell Marcus Rashford during the summer transfer window and the opportunities that he will get his dream to Barcelona have increased thanks to Nico Williams
Marcus Rashford contacted Barcelona, after their £ 58 million deal to sign Nico Williams in a spectacular way. Williams, 22, was in conversation to become a member of Barca, but their well -documented financial problems meant that they were unable to guarantee the Spanish winger that they could register him at La Liga.
After weeks of loaded negotiations, Williams decided to sign a new 10-year contract with Athletic Bilbao instead. That is Barcelona looking for alternatives to strengthen their attacking department.
Liverpool star Luis Diaz is their first-choice goal, although the Reds are reluctant to sell the Colombian attacker. Bayern Munich recently made an approach for Diaz, 28, who was firmly rejected by Liverpool who is it that he is not going anywhere.
As such there is a gap to fulfill in Barca, who reportedly identified Rashford as their plan B – with Rashford who dreams of becoming a member of the La Liga Giants. He wants to test himself in another country instead of staying in the Premier League and Barca his number 1 choice.
With United who demands a fee of £ 40 million, every deal with Barca would probably be a loan for Rashford – unless they can negotiate a fall in the price tag of United.
Rashford told the Spanish champions that he would be willing to make a wage reduction at the age of £ 325,000 a week's salary. His brother and agent, Dwaine Maynard, was spotted in May in Barcelona Sporting Director Deco.
United says that Rashford has announced the club that he wants to explore a move, just like Red Devils teammates Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia. Matheus Cunha has also taken the No.10 shirt from Rashford.
Last month, the 27-year-old revealed that he wants to play Wonderkid Lamine Yamal in a thin-wow Come-Get-Me-Ploedooi together with Barca. “Yes, certainly. Everyone in the world wants to play with the best,” Rashford told the Spanish YouTube channel Xbuyer. “So hopefully we will see.”
Now the chances are that he is getting his dream to Catalunya. Athletic announced that Williams had signed a huge contract extension on Friday morning until 2035.
