Real Madrid star Rodrygo Goes is one of the few names that so far do not enjoy the new dawn under Xabi Alonso. It seemed a fact that he would leave at the end of the League season, but Arsenal is now the only leading freer for his signature.
Since he started the first game at the Club's World Cup, Rodrygo played only 23 minutes under Alonso, and those trips were his first since they were immersed during the Copa del Rey final during the break. Despite the positive messages from Alonso on Rodrygo, a movement seems increasingly likely.
Arsenal is the most connected to Rodrygo, with some reports that say that the Gunners will offer € 70 million in the beginning, while Diario as a Claim can be closed a deal for more than € 90 million. Fabrizio Romano explains that Rodrygo and Real Madrid will discuss his future after the World Cup of Club and come to a decision.
In the meantime, Arsenal is not in a hurry to let the deal happen. Ben Jacobs explains to GMS Sport that Gabriel Martinelli and/or Leandro Trossard first have to leave before Arsenal will make a movement for Rodrygo. They do not expect to open conversations with Real Madrid until August, because they feel that it is a deal to get better towards the end of the transfer window.
In the Spanish capital, the news remains that Real Madrid is open for Rodrygo who leaves for the right price. Alonso and the club agree that the starting door is open if he wants to walk through it, taking into account their important firepower and the arrival of Franco Mastantuono.
Rodrygo has largely heated the bank during the World Cup Club, despite the fact that Endrick Felipe and Kylian Mbappe have been pronounced with injury and illness. In the two forward positions there seems to be little room for Rodrygo when Alonso continues with a back three. Certainly if they wanted to push him to an exit, his current situation does not hurt.
