Former La Masia favourite eyeing up Barcelona managerial position

During the summer, Thiago Alcantara joined Hansi Flick's coaching staff at Barcelona, and although he only held the position for a few months, he left a lasting impression. As a result, he is expected to return to the club to resume his duties in January.

Sport says Thiago is currently considering the decision, although he is in no rush as he wants to take some time and space after a long playing career. What plays in Barcelona's favor, however, is that the 33-year-old wants to become a manager in the future – and doing so at the Spotify Camp Nou is one of his dreams.

There is no doubt that Thiago could follow in the footsteps of the likes of Pep Guardiola and Xavi Hernandez by having played and managed Barcelona. He has already made a good impression on the club with his coaching qualities and this will be taken into account in the future.
