Gyokeres sees Sporting take action after Arsenal target’s ‘strike’ threat

Viktor Gyokees is a transfer target for Arsenal this summer and his future could soon be resolved after reports the Gunners have made a breakthrough with sporty CP in the midst of the prospect of a strike

Sporting CP has taken the drastic move to delay Viktor Gyokores' return to the training for the season after the alleged threat of the striker to strike. The Arsenal -target is involved in an explosive spit with sporty President Frederico Varandas about the compensation he can leave for while looking for a move.

Mirror Football understands that Gyokeres, whose teammates return to the training on Monday, received a four -day expansion until Friday, because sporting leaders try to spread the conflict. The new deadline is the day before Sporting to the Algarve Travel for a training camp.

While a contingent of the first team stars of Sporting will perform physical testing, the club will continue to sweat about the future perspectives of Gyokees. And Arsenal can feel a chance to reach a breakthrough to land a new striker.

Gyokeres and his agent Hasan Cetinkaya made the strike threat after they believed that the club had taken an agreement to make the Sweden International available for £ 60 million. Sporty President Frederico Varandas rejected the details of the Cetinkaya claim, with the anger of Gyokeres to come from his conviction that the Portuguese giants demand £ 67 million – a figure that still has to be met under his free -rise clause, which does not have to be met this summer.

Varandas has remained that Gyokeres is only sold and suggested for a real value: “Threats, blackmail and insults do not work with me.” Although the delayed return of his star striker indicates that the situation is far from simple.

While he destroyed the agent of Gyokeres in a stunning statement last month, Varandas said that there would be an offer on the table for the 50-goal striker. But there was a recognition that a deal under his release clause would be facilitated in an attempt to allow Gyokeres to chase Champions League football.

Since then, Gyokeres would have rejected two monster offers from the Saudi Pro League. Al-Hilal and Al-Qadisiyah have stated that they have made offers to the player worth £ 11 million a year.

Gyokeres has agreed all proposals with a switch to the Premier League and Arsenal are preferred. And now he has to wait to see if the Gunners can close a deal.

The North London side has long for a striker at Gyokees and Benjamin Sesko supposed to be club goals this summer to help the Mikel Arteta team to go better in the Premier League. Andrea Berta has worked on deals for both players and although Sesko was assumed as the highest target of the club, reports have demanded a breakthrough in conversations about gyokeres.

Arsenal and Sporting would now be in 'Advanced Talks' about a deal for the ex-Coventry Forward. Gyokeres is supposed to have agreed a five -year -old deal with the Gunners to make the switch to the Emirates.
