According to the L'Equipe newspaper, Saudi club Al Ahli are interested in signing Lionel Messi in December, as soon as his contract with Inter Miami ends.
After having won the Asian Champions League, Ahli has been enthusiastic for several weeks to convince the eight times Ballon d'Or winner to participate in their ranks. In the meantime, Inter Miami hopes to expand the adventure of Messi than his first two seasons in MLS.
Messi was already approached in the summer of 2023 after his departure from PSG, and remains a priority goal for the Saudi competition, which did not give up the idea to see him play on his turf as soon as he is free again in December.
