Nottingham Forest has officially announced the appointment of Edu Gaspar as their worldwide football head.
The former Arsenal Sporting Director plays a newly established leading role that supervises football operations for the Reds.
There was a degree of shock among Arsenal fans in November when Mail Sport broke the news that the former midfielder would leave his role with the Emirates.
Edu was responsible for recording important signing sessions such as Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice and in leading the strong performance of Arsenal in recruitment and delivering important players to the club.
