The FIFA disciplinary committee has decided to punish Paris Saint-Germain players Willian Pacho and Lucas Hernández with suspensions of two games.
Both received direct red cards in the Club World Cup Quarterly match between Paris Saint -Germain and Bayern Munich in Mercedes -Benz Stadium in Atlanta on July 5, 2025.
In accordance with Article 14 (1) (e) of the FIFA disciplinary code, both players are prohibited for two games. PSG reserves the right to request clarification about the decision. However, according to the FIFA statutes Article 50 (3) (B) and disciplinary code Article 61 (1) (c), this decision is final and not subject to appeal.
As a result, their journey in the FIFA Club World Cup has come to an early conclusion.
