So far, Manchester United has not made only one signing with a deal for Bryan Mbeumo, but the Red Devils will get a financial boost from another deal
Manchester United stands in line for a welcome financial boost as a result of the proposed transfer of £ 55 million to Newcastle from Anthony Elanga, with the Red Devils to reach more than £ 5 million.
Elanga, 23, joined the Academy Ranks in United as a teenager before he broke in the first team and was then sold to Forest in the summer of 2023. He excelled since he had moved to city ground and, after collecting 17 target contributions for Bos last season, is now on the rack of a new movement.
Newcastle are long -term admirers of the Sweden International and have been signing his signature for weeks in their search for a new right wing.
And with a deal that has now been agreed in principle, United is benefiting from a clause that they have inserted in the first deal that brought Elanga to Forest two years ago.
According to ESPN, United is a percentage of each profit forest on the amount for which they have signed Elanga, which is supposed to be around £ 15 million.
The Magpies want to strengthen the 2025-26 campaign after they qualified again for the Champions League and Elanga will give Eddie Howe more frontline options.
Ironically, United's interest in Bryan Mbeumo – and the subsequent preference of the player for a move to Old Trafford – Newcastle back to Elanga in their search for a new attacker.
Mbeumo is a wanted man after breaking the barrier of 20 goals in the Premier League last season, but only has eyes for Manchester United. A deal has yet to be completed for the Cameroon Star, despite weeks of conversations with Brentford.

Elanga's departure from Old Trafford was not a universally popular decision and United's decision to let the winger go out was criticized by Jamie Redknapp a few months after the deal was closed.
Speaking for a match between Forest and United in December 2023, Redknapp said at Sky Sports of Elanga: “If you look at the current climate of players and how much they cost, he looks like a real bargain. Antony, on the other hand [Elanga] Gives you more opportunities in the future, he scores and makes more goals.
'When you play against your earlier side, you want to show them. He will look forward to it to prevent [Diogo] Dalot today and hires it. “
