Arman Tsarukyan kicked his coach out of the cage in viral training accident ahead of UFC return

UFC Lichtweight Competent Arman Tsarukyan literally kicked one of his coaches from the cage in an ENG accident.

Arman Tsarukyan seems to be back in the good grace of the UFC after a withdrawal with a short notice from UFC 311 in January. After withdrawing the UFC 311 head event with a back injury, Tsarukyan was the back -up hunter at UFC 317 and can play the same role at UFC 318.

Tsarukyan will probably have to win at least one fight before he deserves another title shot. Potential matchups with people like Paddy Pimblett, then Hooker and Justin Gaethje are in the mix for the next fight by Tsarukyan.

But a disaster almost struck in the Tsarukyan training camp during a routine pad session.

Arman Tsarukyan sends coach who flies out of the cage in a wild training -accident

Tsarukyan and one of his coaches got some work while the top lightweight prepares for his return to the Octagon. In the beginning it was routine when Tsarukyan threw various techniques while his coach held Pads.

But a big problem appeared, while Tsarukyan and his coach forgot to close the cage door before kicking off their session. After Tsarukyan landed a staircase in the middle part of his coach, his coach flew through the unlocked cage door and landed flat on his back on the floor below.

Tsarukyan shared images of the incident in a recent Instagram post, together with a humorous caption.

“Can someone keep the cage closed,” Tsarukyan noted.

Fortunately, it seems that the Tsarukyan coach was not seriously injured in the accident. If he had not worn a protective filling while working with Tsarukyan, it could have been a worse incident.

Tsarukyan has collaborated with UFC Middenweight Competent Khamzat Chimaev and others in California prior to their return to the cage. Chimaev will return to the Octagon on UFC 319 next month to challenge UFC Middleweight Champion Dric Du Plessis in Chicago.

Construction of tensions between Arman Tsarukyan and Ilia Topuria

In the meantime, Tsarukyan has poor blood brewing with UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria, because the two have exchanged hooks again in recent days. After Tsarukyan promised to 'Maul' Topuria in a potential fight in 'Maul', Topuria called Tsarukyan a 'Total Jerk' and mocked the competition for his recent versions.

Tsarukyan has not fought anymore since a unanimous decision victory over Charles Oliveira at UFC 300. He has won four consecutive fights since a controversial loss for Mateusz Gamrot in June 2022.

Topuria faced Pimblett after his knockout victory over Oliveira on UFC 317, pointing to a potential collision between the two old rivals. But Tsarukyan and Gaethje also make strong cases for the next title shot.

At the moment it is uncertain how the UFC matchmakers Tsarukyan will book for his next performance. But in the midst of building tensions between Tsarukyan and Topuria, the UFC has their hands full when matching the lightweight division.
