Users of Eagle Eyed Social Media have seen an airy social media blunder from Arsenal legend Paul Merson.
Merson is counted among the most popular former players in the North London club and plays more than 420 times for the Gunners in 12 years in Highbury and scores 99 times in the process.
Since then he has successfully switched to a job in the media, after he had played on Sky Sports reporting in recent years, after he had officially hung up his boots in 2012 and apparently retired in 2006.
In his recent activity on social media, however, some saw lightly Jibes send his way, after he apparently forgets to edit a message before he placed it on X, formerly Twitter.

However, his small error did not escape the notification with one fan who was ridiculed and responded with a number of crying emojis.
Towards the end of last season, Merson made the perhaps daring claim that Mikel Arteta 'until Christmas' in the top two before questions are asked about his future.
He said, “[Arsenal] Need a center-forward and they have to make a backup in large positions. The moment they make changes, the team weakens. At Arsenal, the front three are not real natural goal scorers.
