Chelsea lay out transfer demands to EPL clubs trying to sign wantaway star

Chelsea has a number of outputs to facilitate this summer and has already sold two keepers and the side of Enzo Maresca has set their position to lose another in the coming weeks

Chelsea wants £ 25 million for Djordje Petrovic as a large number of clubs in line to sign the goalkeeper. Bournemouth and Sunderland have both shown interest in the landing of the Serbia International.

Petrovic, 25, signed for Chelsea in a deal that could reach £ 14 million in 2023 and eventually became the first choice of the club in his debut season under Mauricio Pochettino. After the arrival of Enzo Maresca, however, Petrovic came to Strasbourg – who is also interested in his return – on loan and his versions gave him the player of the club.

The former keeper of New England Revolution is currently not in the United States with the blues, where they have reached the Club World Cup final. Petrovic would have asked to be left out of the team to facilitate an exit.

Filip Jorgensen, Mike Penders, Robert Sanchez, Gabriel Slonina all traveled to the US with the possibility of standing in the net in the line. Maresca has chosen to use Sanchez except one except one in the tournament where Jorgensen was selected in the starting XI instead.

Chelsea has already seen two keepers leave this summer. Veteran -goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli joined Manchester City, while Kepa Arsenal joined Arsenal in a £ 5 million deal. The Spaniard spent the last term on loan with Bournemouth as number 1 of Andoni Iraola.

The cherries on the market left that for a new keeper, despite the return of Neto from a seasonal -hose loan to Arsenal. Bournemouth must find £ 25 million to acquire Petrovic according to De Telegraaf.

Petrovic's position comes despite the fact that Chelsea is apparently on the market for a new first choice -goalkeeper if the opportunity occurs. The blues made an attempt to sign Mike Maignan, but wanted AC Milan's £ 25 million asking price for the Frenchman, 30, who has been on his contract for a year.

The new Rossoneri boss Max Allegri has now suggested that the future of Maignan at the San Siro will be.

“Maignan remains the captain and is one of the best keepers in Europe,” he told the press on Monday. “I am very happy that he decided to stay.”

As such, it seems that Sanchez will remain the man who will be no.1 of Chelsea in the coming season.

Blues -head coach Maresca has meanwhile told players who want to leave the club that they are free to leave. Repondering about speculation about Arsenal who moved for Noni Madueke, the Italian imposed his attitude.

“But my message to the players and the club is that I only want to be players who are happy to be with us. Those who are not happy, they are free to go.

“It's not for Noni, it's for all players we have. But again, Noni has been very good during the season and very good tonight.”
