Tottenham star ‘lined up by Juventus in £17m move’

Juventus is said to be in line for both Granit Xhaka and one of the midfielders of Tottenham, while the Italian giants want to strengthen in the middle of the park.

After he has won nine Serie A-crowns from 2011 to 2020, the old lady did not succeed in winning the top flight because each of Inter Milan, AC Milan and Napoli rule the Roost in their absence.

After another bad start of the campaign in 2024-25, Juve separated ways with newly valued Thiago-Motta and brought in Igor Tudor who, after they went to a fourth placed finish last season, wants to improve his stock.

With doubts about the futures of stars such as Dusan Vlahovic and Douglas Luiz, both of which have been associated with movements to the Premier League in recent weeks, there could be a big overhaul this summer.

However, an area where the club apparently focuses, their midfield, with the former Arsenal star Xhaka and Tottenham's Yves Bissouma is said to be important.

Italian outlets Tuttosport and Gazzetta Dello Sport report that the Bianconeri are interested in Xhaka, which is also supposed to have conversations with AC Milan.

However, the Swiss International is apparently a member of the shortlist of the new director Damien Comolli by Spurs' Europa League winner Bissouma, as well as Sporting's Morten Hjulmand and Benfica's Florentino.

However, Comolli has a strong relationship with Tottenham, who, according to Juventus, is said to work in their favor for any negotiations.

The clubs have previously led transfers activities with good effect, in which Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski have both arrived at the North London club of Turin in recent years.

From every possible deal for the Mali International -midfielder is supposed to restore Juventus between £ 12.9 million and £ 17.2 million.

Baas Igor Tudor is supposed to be behind a dynamic midfielder to add to his current unity, including Khephren Thuram, Manuel Locatelli and Weston Mckennie.

Sandro Tonali is said to be the signing of 'dream', although his fame at Newcastle, and the financial data that is probably involved, largely remote such a step.

It is because the Italian giants are linked to a relocation for Manchester United Outcast Jadon Sancho, who is, however, willing to lower his wages by around £ 200,000 a week to facilitate a movement.

Last week it was reported that the Outcast of Manchester United had held 'positive' conversations with the old lady, and it has been claimed that the winger gives priority to a move to Turin.

Sancho, who came to United in 2021 in a £ 73 million deal, but went through a miserable stint, spent on loan in Chelsea last season.

The current salary of the 25-year-old would be more than a stunning £ 300,000 a week. United is holding for a fee of £ 25 million, but his wage requirements mean that a loan cannot be excluded.

According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, Sancho is ready to accept a contract of € 8 million per year (£ 7 million) with Juventus, but the Bianconeri are not willing to go beyond € 6 million plus add-ons (£ 5 million).

Earlier in the window the Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio claimed that Juve is considering a Swap deal for Sancho, where three stars, Douglas Luiz, Dusan Vlahovic and Timothy Weah, the other way were sent.

United was said that they were aware that all three players are for sale, although it is unclear whether all three would have been involved in a deal for Sancho. The idea was reportedly raised during the negotiations about the Englishman.

Sancho is one of the five troubled stars that were told to stay away from the training ground when the rest of the team reported in Carrington on Monday before the preseason.
