Official: Thierno Barry joins Everton from Villarreal
The international striker of France under 21 has signed a four -year contract with the blues, so that he will be held in the club until the end of June 2029.
A powerful 6ft 5 in advance, Barry came to Villarreal from the Swiss side FC Basel last summer. The Frenchman quickly adapted to Laliga and scored 11 goals and scored a hat trick at Leganes in December-to help the yellow submarine with a fifth placed finish and qualification for the Champions League.
Barry-as he prefers to be called that impressive campaign by helping France under the age of 21 to reach the semi-final of the European Championships this summer, including drawing up a crucial winner of the stopping time against Georgia in the group stage.
