Tottenham could ruin Man Utd’s Bryan Mbeumo transfer plan with new move

Manchester United hopes to sign Brentford -star Bryan Mbeumo this summer, but has rejected two bids – and Tottenham could make their bid if they succeed in landing his teammate Yoane Wissa

Tottenham was able to first land the movement of Manchester United for Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford Scupper – by first landing his spits partner.

Spurs want to strengthen their team after the arrival of manager Thomas Frank from Brentford and De Dane would like to recruit Yoane Wissa from his former club.

Frank was also interested in bringing Mbeumo to North Londs, but the Cameroonian has his heart on a switch to Old Trafford.

United, however, was frustrated in conversations with Brentford after seeing two bids rejected for the attacker – the latter is around £ 62.5 million. Spurs has since focused on Wissa, who scored 19 goals in the Premier League last season – a less than Brentford teammate Mbeumo.

And if they can move quickly and get a movement for the dangerous striker, it can derail the hope of United to take Mbeumo well – with the bees to lose both players at the same time.

However, according to the Evening Standard, Spurs, back in the Champions League, will have to be at least £ 50 million to recruit the 28-year-old.

Tottenham has already agreed £ 55 million with West Ham for Mohammed Kudus, but Frank still wants more quality in his attack after seeing Spurs last season 17th.

However, whether £ 50 million would be a good price -quality ratio for Wissa, since it will be 29 in September is another question. Daniel Levy and his hierarchy have long averted deals for players of that age due to a lack of resale value.

Participating in Spurs would rely on Wissa who would offer him a taste of European football in his greatest competition. Brentford has previously rejected the interest in him, with Nottingham Forest already rejected an £ 22 million offer for him in January.

United will hope that Wissa will stay in place to ensure that they stay on course to sign Mbeumo.

Manager Ruben Amorim is desperate to revise his wrestling attack and has already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves in an attempt to help the problem – paid with the £ 62.5 million for the Brazilian international who is increasingly used by Brentford as a marker for the price tag that they have broke on Mbeumo's head.
