14-fight UFC veteran among four cut during Dana White’s latest roster purge

Four hunters are currently coming to terms with the fact that the UFC has cut them.

UFC CEO Dana White is known for sporadic clearings of his stacked schedule of athletes.

The last hunter to be cut was a UFC 317 debutant who had missed 10 pounds last month.

Trevin Giles

14-Fight UFC veteran Trevin Giles is the most controversial hunter affected by White's selection.

The long-term welterweight and middleweight competition went 7-7 in the UFC Octagon.

Giles achieves big wins over James Krause and Roman Dolidze. The 32-year-old also shared the cage with 185 pound champion Dric Du Persis and rising 170 pounds of competition Michael Morales.

The 38-year-old has victories on former title challengers Jennifer Maia, Roxanne Modafferi and Alexis Davis.

Araujo is 2-3 in her last five fights and 7-6 since he joined MMA's Premier promotion in 2019.

The last time she suffered a unanimous decision lock when she fought against Tracy Cortez on UFC 317.

Ange Loosa was cut after a brutal knockout loss for Phil Rowe in UFC Atlanta on June 14.

Loosa's face was attached to the fence before he ate a pathogenic 10-punch KO combination.

Before that, the 31-year-old fell against a unanimous decision against UFC Nashville star Gabriel Bonfim.

Loosa ends his UFC run with a 2-3 (1NC) record. Winning about AJ Fletcher and Rhys McKee were not enough to convince the forces he is worth his place on the Roster.
