Atletico Madrid is close to the sealing of another exit, after Angel Correa's departure was confirmed on Wednesday. Five players have already left the club, with Reinildo Mandava, Axel Witsel and Cesar Azpilicueta who leave at the end of their contracts.
Correa's exit was an open secret after he said goodbye to the Metropolitano in May, but he was welcome a hero in Mexico when he arrived to sign with Tigres. Correa, 30, leaves after a decade in Atletico, scored 88 goals and gives 58 assists, many of them crucial. Undoubtedly one of the best super subs in the game, Correa changed countless competitions for Diego Simeone and will be seriously missed by both fans and club. The reimbursement is approximately € 8 million for the Argentina International.
In the meantime, Rodrigo de Paul closes to a move to Inter Miami, after he agreed the conditions with the Major League Soccer Side, according to Cesar Luis Merlo. He has given the green light for a movement for a friend and international teammate Lionel Messi stays there. The proposed fee is approximately € 15 million for Atletico to allow the Paul, and the two clubs are also getting closer for a fee.
Los Colchoneros has already received a formal offer from Inter Miami, and it seems that the movement is almost packed.
According to Diario, the Paul may not be the last to leave the club this summer. Atletico is willing to consider offers for a number of players, including Alexander Sorloth and Conor Gallagher, even if they are not for sale.
Closer to an exit are Samuel Lino and Nahuel Molina, explain the Madrid -based daily. After having cut his teeth in Udinese, Molina still has admirers in the Serie A, while there is no interest in Lino at the time of writing. He was previously linked to a switch to the Premier League.
