Tom Aspinall ignored as former fighter names ‘winnable’ fight that would bring Jon Jones back for UFC White House

Jon Jones has shown interest in fighting in the White House and an analyst thinks he knows who the UFC should call to make it happen.

President Donald Trump wants MMA to be an important part of next year's celebrations on July 4, who will mark the 250th birthday of the signing of the declaration of independence.

The American leader recently withdrew eyebrows by sketching his plan for a UFC fight in the White House, organized by his old supporter Dana White. A number of hunters quickly threw their names in the hat to compete in the iconic lawn, where Jones teased a return of retirement in particular.

If the goat candidate undertakes for this, an ex-hunter has a “profitable” matchup in mind for his return and it is not a collision with the “biggest, worst” heavyweight.

Alan Jouban says that Alex Pereira is fighting for 'presidential belt' Jon Jones

During a recent performance on the Bohnfire podcast with MMA Junkie's Mike Bohn, former hunter Alan Jouban became the last to give his opinion about fights outside the White House.

While some people have a suitable UK vs. Have thrown USA collision between Aspinall and Jones, Jouban firmly believes that the American legend would not have a chance to beat the young heavyweight champion now, let alone a year later.

With that he had a different idea in mind for an opponent who could fight Jones for a symbolic “presidential” title.

“If there was ever a reason or a way to get Jones or Conor McGregor back,” said Jouban. “Maybe you can place Jon Jones in a kind of title fight if he would fight Tom Aspinall … I don't think that happens.

“What I think is, if the chance for Jon Jones to come back realistically – he says:” Dana, I want to come back to this card: “I think he is looking for a fight with a man like Alex Pereira.

“I think Tom Aspinall is the biggest, worst man on the planet … I think he is running through Jon Jones,” Jouban added. “A year from now on? Jon Jones will be 39 or something. Every day that passes, Jon Jones is less and less likely to be competitive in these big fights.

“I think something that Jon Jones brings back, Alex Pereira goes up in weight. That is a very profitable fight for him. They are both about the same weight. They are both at the end of their career … And they would come up with a belt. It would be the presidential belt, a kind of crazy belt.”

Alex Pereira wanted to train with Jon Jones to combat speculation

Jones led to talking about fighting Pereira months before his decision to retire, while pointing to the Brazilian as a name that would motivate him to fight while he would continue to avoid Aspinall.

Before that, 'Patan' had shown interest in training with his fellow -for example light heavyweight Kingpin. But that changed as soon as the prospect of a fight arose, where Pereira revealed his U-turn to bloody elbow.

“To be honest, I don't think that's so much logical,” said Pereira about his offer. “When I said I would like to fight for heavyweight people who have already put together the dots and in fact called Jon Jones.

“So that is something that is speculated, even if it is only by the fans. So I would not want to train with him every now and then if we fight people will eventually say a lot of things about anything in the fight.

“So I think it would not be logical now, but if we were fighting one day and then training, I think it would be totally logical.”
