UFC boss Dana White has never been afraid to give his opinion and former referee Mario Yamasaki was once on the receiving side of White's Toorn.
One of the reasons why Dana White is so universally loved by the UFC fan base is because of his pronounced and honest personality.
However, coming on the wrong side of the UFC boss can prove too much to come back and former referee Mario Yamasaki knows all about it.
Countless times, White has criticized the judges for their score of fighting and even sometimes referees closed for their decision to stop a fight sooner or later.

Mario Yamasaki has released a statement in which his decision was defended to let steatdown continue
In 2018 after her failed Bantamweight title against Amanda Nunes, Valentina Shevchenko was linked to Priscila Cachoeura at UFC Belem.
In the very first exchanges it became clear that there was a huge discrepancy in the skills of the two hunters, because Shevchenko immediately dominated the fight with its sensational striking and even brought the fight to the ground and rained through the helicide elbows.
The Brazilian was immediately cut open and it became clear that she had no route back in the fight. Nevertheless, Yamasaki did not succeed in stepping in and calling the fight, even when 'Zombie Girl' became completely brutal with continuous elbows to the head.
Again in the second round, Shevchenko took the fight on the ground and had cachoei stuck in the crucifixion, while she just completely brutalized her. Yamasaki still did nothing to stop the fight while he just wandered aimlessly around the cage.
After having eaten more than 200 strikes while he was on the ground, Cachoeira turned to her back and was finally submitted by Shevchenko, which put her out of her misery.
After the event, Yamasaki published an explanation controversially and claimed that he was “a warrior”.

Although Yamasaki thought he was doing the right thing by defending his decision, this eventually led to his downfall as white completely released him and stated that he would never be a referee in the UFC again.
“I think it is disgusting, I think he is disgusting and I never want to see him reunion,” said White Fox Sports.
“She didn't tap and that's the thing … She fights like a warrior for that idiot to say that he gave her the chance to be a warrior, no, idiot, you are there to protect her against herself. He makes me sick. That guy has no things that are fighting and I promise you, you will no longer see him,” White went further.
White held on to his word and Yamasaki was taught by the UFC shortly thereafter.
