Real Madrid will now resume their transfer activities, now that their involvement in the World Cup 2025 Club has ended. There is a wish to get a deal for Alvaro Carreras in the coming weeks, but there will also be players who leave the club.
Castilla defender Rafael Obrador agreed the conditions prior to a move to Benfica, and his teammates Victor Munoz will also leave in the very near future. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid has closed a deal with Osasuna for the young winger to join Los Rojillos.
As part of the deal, Real Madrid receives a transfer costs of € 6 million, while they are also entitled to 50% of the money that Osasuna received if they would sell Munoz in the future.
The move to Osasuna is quite surprising for Munoz, who was at Real Madrid at the Club World Cup in the United States. Getafe President Angel Torres recently revealed that they had a priority agreement for the 21-year-old, but that will come nothing now that he is on his way to Pamplona.
Munoz broke in the first team of Madrid towards the end of the domestic campaign, including an appearance in the 3-2 defeat against Barcelona in the last El Clasico meeting in La Liga. But it is now determined that he will not be in the plans of Xabi Alonso for his first full campaign that is in charge, and that is why Osasuna has been written to sign him.
The sale of Obrador and Munoz adds € 11 million to the Transfordonds of Real Madrid for the rest of the summer, in combination with all the money added by the club's exploits at the club's World Cup. It is still to be seen whether further signing sessions are aimed as soon as Carreras arrives, which is expected to take place soon.
