However, it seems that one of his greatest ambitions is currently off the table of the table after the comments of Dana White about bringing the Octagon back to Topuria's home country.

Fans criticize the UFC after LFA announces that it will debut in Spain in a few months
In his press conference after the fight after UFC 317, Dana White claimed that hosting a UFC event in Spain “is not even an option”.
The UFC -CEO is still convinced that they will eventually bring the Octagon to the home country of Ilia Topuria at some point in the future, but the dream of seeing 'El Matador' in a huge stadium for his home fans does not seem to happen closer.
Thanks to promotions such as WOW FC from Topuria, the MMA scene in Spain has grown in recent years, which has attracted some interest from foreign organizations.

The Legacy Fighting Alliance, or LFA, has been a prominent promotion for some time with many current UFC stars that cut their teeth on the schedule before they are successful in the Octagon.
LFA is mainly located in the United States, with incidental events that are held in Spain, recently announced that they will make their European debut on 27 September with an event in Tenerife, Spain.
Although the scale of what a UFC event in Spain would look like compared to this upcoming card, is drastically different, fans still took the opportunity to criticize the MMA leader on social media because they stay a step behind.
“Dana is an idiot who behaves as if he cannot physically make a Topuria Spain card possible.”

Dana White Hypes in the future Potential Superfight For Ilia Topuria in the future
During a recent performance on the entire podcast, Dana White mentioned the long -awaited matchup between Ilia Topuria and Islam Makhachev as a huge fight for the future.
Although fans were disappointed when the fight did not take place at UFC 317, White said that if Makhachev is able to win the Welterweight title, a champion VS Kampioen Clash could take place.
“Another huge fight would also be Ilia vs Islam … The other is that Islam goes up and of course if Islam won the title, you immediately have a super fight with him and Ilia.”
It has been somewhat removed from the context that White explains that this will be the next for Makhachev if he wins the belt when he apparently only suggests that this fight is possible.
