With Newcastle who completes the signing of £ 55 million from Anthony Elanga from Nottingham Forest, Eddie Howe can now count on one of the fastest front lines in the Premier League.
Howe had been an admirer of the pace and the output of the right winger, after he had scored six and helped 11 in the Premier League last season.
Elanga is now joining another lightning -fast winger in Anthony Gordon on Tyneside, with his colleague -Sweden International Alexander Isak who leads the border.
Statistics from last season's Premier League have shown that Elanga and Gordon were players who spent the most time. Elanga was also clocked at a top speed of 22.77 MPH last season, the fastest reached by an attacking player in the top flight.
Mail Sport has taken a look at the fastest frontlines that can be entered in the Premier League next season, using the latest campaign of the top speeds, recorded by statistics, and with realistic line-ups.
Only clubs involved in the Premier League last season were used in counting down.
Man City – 22.08 MPH
Erling Haaland, Omar Marmoush, Jeremy Doku
Pep Guardiola should be able to count on the fastest forward line next season in the Premier League, if he could call this trio.
Man City Doel machine Haaland was the fifth fastest attacking player in the top flight in 2024-25 by clocking 22.37 mph.
Combined with Doku and January signed Marmoush, their average top speed was 22.08 mph.
Brentford – 22.07 MPH
Bryan Mbeumo, Kevin Schade, Yoane Wissa
The bees are just behind Man City with an average top speed of 22.07 mph.
Whether that is the case when a new campaign starts, is something else, with Bryan Mbuemo the second fastest attacking player in the top flight last season at 22.76 MPH, only behind Elanga.
Damage and Wissa are also among the top 30 fastest attackers, with their combined top speed that Brentford put second on the list.
Newcastle – 22.03 MPH
Anthony Elanga, Anthony Gordon, Alexander Isak
Invoicing In the arrival of Elanga, Newcastle is set in having the third fastest forward line. Elanga and Gordon were the first and 10th fastest ahead last season, where Isak dragged the average surprisingly down with only a top speed of 21.19 km / h.
A former Newcastle wing player Yankuba Minth in particular was the third fastest in 2024-25. The restraint of the Magpies to leave Minteh shows the importance of pace for their attack, where PSR ultimately leads to their decision to sell him to Brighton.
Elanga now pushes Newcastle on the list, with their average top speed that drops to a still fast 21.70 mph with Harvey Barnes instead of the Swede.
Arsenal – 22.02 MPH
Gabriel Martinelli, Ethan Nwaneri, Kai Havertz
The absence of Bukayo Saka is a slight reservation of the front line of Arsenal, but the Gunners star missed a considerable part of last season due to an injury.
Saka had reached a top speed of 22.59 MPH in 2022, but did not succeed in pressing the speed gun last season.
Because Havertz will probably appear in front when things are, Mikel Arteta would turn to Martinelli and Nwaneri if he wanted to play his fastest attacking trio.
Brighton – 21.90 MPH
Yankuba Minth, Kaoru Mitoma, Georginio Rutter
The seagulls would be able to do two of the fastest recognized wing players in the Premier League in Minth and Mitoma.
MINTEH was arranged last season as the third fastest attacker, while Mitoma was the 23rd in general.
Rutter is also not slow, with the attacker in the Top 50 last season.
Tottenham – 21.76mph
Wilson Odobert, Mathys Tel, Dominic Solanke
Thomas Frank has called a fast forward line in Brentford and will inherit comparable in Tottenham.
Odobert achieved the fourth highest top speed of every attacking player in the Premier League last season, after he was clocked at 22.59 mph. Mathys Tel, who is permanently connected this summer, was the next fastest wide man for Brennan Johnson and son Heung-Min.
Dominic Solanke seems to be leading the line for Tottenham, with the average top speed of the three with 21.76 mph.
However, if Son Solanke would replace Attack Tottenham, Tottenham would have the fastest attack, with the average rise to 22.09 mph.
Chelsea – 21.74 MPH
Pedro Neto, Noni Madueke, Joao Pedro
As always with Chelsea, this would depend on the blues transfer activity with Madueke linked to a move to London Rivals Arsenal.
For now, Madueke are in their fastest attacking line-up, in addition to their fastest forward Pedro Neto and new arrival Joao Pedro.
The latter is closer than Nicolas Jackson, who is also linked to a move.
Man United – 21.67mph
Rasmus Hojlund, Matheus Cunha, Amad
The fastest front line by Ruben Amorim is very subject to change, because the Red Devil's attacking reinforcements chase and want to go on the will of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Antony.
If the Red Devils had to come in a row today, a likely attack by Hojlund, Amad and Summer Signing Cunha would have a combined average top speed of 21.67 MPH.
It would represent a drop of 22.06 MPH if Rashford and Garnacho Hojlund would support.
A line-up from Hojlund, Cunha and Mbuemo, however, would surpass that with the Brentford man who pushes the figure to 22.12 MPH. This would send United to the top of the ranking.
Liverpool – 21.64 MPH
Luis Diaz, Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo
The ruling Premier League champions are around the center of the table in our list, with the side of Arne Slot that combines speed and skill.
Luis Diaz was the Reds fastest attacking player in their title winning season, while Mo Salah continues to brave his progressive years and shows why the Reds handed him a new deal.
Gakpo would complete Liverpool's fastest forward line as the center.
Crystal Palace – 21.47 MPH
Jean-Philippe Mateta, Ismaila Sarr, Ebereechi Eze
Mateta was the fastest of the FA Cup winners who attacked players in the Premier League last season and clocks 21.91 MPH.
Oliver Glasner would merge Sarr and Eze together with him next season if he wanted to accept opponents for pace.
However, the Eagles should retain the services of Eze with Premier League rivals who have admiring cans at their Cup Final Hero.
Bournemouth – 21.46mph
Dango Ouattara, Justin Kluivert, Evanilson
The cherries are the following on the list of a combination of Ouattara, Kluisivert and Evanilson who reach an average top speed of 21.46 MPH.
Antonie Semenyo was closely outside their fastest line-up and could easily be immersed to maintain the pace in the attack.
West Ham – 21.38 MPH
Mohammed Kudus, Mikhail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen
Some serious questions about the fastest trio in West Ham, with their fastest attacking threat Kudus connected to a relocation of the club.
The future of Antonio in the club is doubtful with his contract that took place at the end of last season, while it is likely that the broken leg in his serious car will have lowered his top speed in December.
Bowen would be the slowest but most essential of the trio in the attack of West Ham.
Brazilian winger Luis Guilherme and Niclas Fullkrug are the Hammers the next fastest attackers, with a surprising 21.28 MPH top speed in the last season.
Aston Villa – 21.31mph
Donyell Malen, Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins
The side of Unai Emery may be surprisingly low on the list, given their assets on the counterattack.
With Marcus Rashford after his loan movement in the second half of last season, Malen was closely the fastest attacking player for Rogers.
Watkins would lead the border, but his top speed last season had fallen at 20.90 MPH.
Everton – 21.23mph
Beto, Iliman Ndiaye, Jack Harrison
Compiling an Everton Front Three is a challenge in itself, with Dominic Calvert-Lewis and Armando Broja under recent confirmed rooms from the club.
Beto and Iliman Ndiaye are among the worn -out attacks that remain as Everton preparing for their first season in their new stadium.
With reports that link Jack Harrison to the club for another potential loan spell, the winger is included in our line-up.
Wolves – 21.03 MPH
Rodrigo Gomes, Jorgen Strand Larsen, Hwang Hee-Chan
Wolves belong to the lower ranked teams in our countdown, with Strand Larsen their central striker.
He would be supported by Gomes and Hwang in the attack of Vítor Pereira.
Fulham – 21.02mph
Adama Traore, Ryan Sessegnon, Rodrigo Muniz
Despite the famous pace of Traore in their ranks, Fulham is the second bottom of our classification. The fast wing player was the fastest attacker 21.86 MPH last season.
Sessegnon and Muniz complete the top three, but the top speed of this last last year was recorded on 20.34 MPH.
Nottingham Forest – 20.58 MPH
Jota Silva, Chris Wood, Callum Hudson-Odoi
The loss of Elanga has hit Nottingham Forest, according to last year's sprint statistics.
The side of Nuno Espirito Santo was famous for their inconscious bravery last season, but it would be potentially repelled after Elanga had moved to Newcastle.
Jota Silva would be their fastest star from last season, with Chris Wood still expected to lead the line.
Surprisingly recorded Wood Last season a higher top speed than Callum Hudson-Odoi, who would complete the trio in attack.
