Barcelona step up pursuit of winger with asking price of less than €40m

Barcelona is looking for a new left wing player, and although Luis Diaz and Marcus Rashford are the priorities, other options are considered. The person who comes in must act as a backup to Raphinha in the early stages of his time in Catalonia and as such a younger profile would be ideal.

Diaz and Rashford may not be the best in this respect, although the latter is also able to play as a striker. Yet both players would not be a long -term bet, while Antonio Nusa would be.

Nusa is a player who takes Barcelona very much. They looked at him last summer before he came to RB Leipzig, and they have now fueled their interest again. As reported by Semper Barca, the Catalans want to accelerate conversations with the Bundesliga side in the coming weeks.

In view of the fact that Diaz and Rashford have reported the asking prices in the region of € 80 million and € 50 million respectively, NUSA could be a better option, because Leipzig is supposed to be willing to illuminate a transfer if they receive compensation than € 40 million.

Nusa only passed five goals and six assists last season, but given that it was his first at Leipzig, and also that he did not start too often, it was a respectable return. And he will only get better – with this development will probably be even more advanced if he would learn under Hansi Flick.

If NUSA is indeed available for less than € 40 million, the pursuit of a deal with Leipzig would be much logical for Barcelona. He would be an ideal long -term left -wing player to play on the right next to Lamine Yamal, but for now it is still to see whether he will make the switch to Catalonia later in the summer.
