West Ham has added Liverpool Harvey Elliott to their list of goals.
Elliott from Liverpool is appreciated at £ 40 million with a buy-back clause.
West Ham also admires his teammate Tyler Morton, a target for Ajax.
The potential movements come as West Ham looks to follow the £ 54.5 million sale of Mohammed Kudus to Tottenham.
The hammers still have to make an offer for Elliott, but seem optimistic that a deal can come across the line.
Elliott, 22, played a leading role for England U-9 last month and achieved five goals in six games during their run to the European Championships Crown.
Elliott can play both widely and through the middle, but has made an effort for consistent playing time.
Only two of his 18 league games last season came as a starter.
Graham Potter, who was hired as West Ham manager last January, is in the middle of his first summer window when he is in charge of freshening up his team.
They also keep an eye on Morton, the young midfielder who is also an English U-9 international.
He is a product of the Liverpool Academy and has had earlier loan tints with Blackburn and Hull City.
