Besiktas has terminated the contract of a former Arsenal and Liverpool star.
The player signed for Besiktas in 2023 and made 50 performances for the club, while scored five goals.
His contract with the Turkish club was earlier ready to walk until the next summer.
A former international in England, he won the Turkish cup and the Turkish Super Cup while he in Besiktas.
However, he will now be looking for a new club this summer.
He was not considered part of the plans of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for the new campaign.
As reported by Yeni Safak, Besiktas ended the contract of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The midfielder struggled in Besiktas halfway through his first season, but played a prominent last campaign.
Between 2012 and 2019, Oxlade-Chamberlain was covered 35 times by England and scored seven goals.
After he started in Southampton, he signed for Arsenal in 2011 and played 198 times for the Gunners, he scored 20 goals and winning three FA cups.
A move to Liverpool followed in 2017, with Oxlade-Chamberlain who won a range of trophies during his time at the Reds.
He won the Champions League, the Premier League, the League Cup, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
In total, Oxlade-Chamberlain scored 18 goals in 146 performances for Liverpool.
A player who was very strongly appreciated as a younger, Oxlade-Chamberlain has often passed problems with injuries.
The 31-year-old has previously been associated with a return to English football and it will be interesting to see what his next destination is.
