Real Madrid plan immediate sale after Alvaro Carreras’ arrival

Real Madrid is in line with their third defensive signing of the summer transfer window while Alvaro Carreras is preparing to arrive.

In their fight, Benfica admitted to keep the Spanish left back after he admitted him last month in their FIFA Club World Cup team.

The Portuguese giants confirmed that Real Madrid was interested in bringing Carreras back to the Spanish capital – after they had previously played at youth level for the club – but their transfer offers were rejected.

Carreras has since left for a summer vacation, but with both parties now free from Club World Cup service, the deal will soon be packed.

Real Madrid previously hoped to complete a transfer for around € 40 million, but Benfica blocked every suggestion of a negotiation on his full release clause of € 50 million in Lisbon.

Club legend Rui Costa and head coach Bruno Low worked together to dismiss a message from no deal that was done about the 22-year-old in June.

The situation has changed little since then and the clause will be paid, but Real Madrid has reached an agreement to pay the full amount in installments.

The arrival of Carreras means new questions about Fran Garcia and Ferland Mendy with both players linked to Exit.

Garcia completed all six Real Madrid games at the Club World Cup and impressed by patches, with Mendy excluded due to injury.

However, with its first team opportunities that are expected to be cut, the Spain International is looking for a new challenge.

Reports from Diario Sport claim that Serie A Giants AC Milan is preparing an offer of € 20 million to take him to the San Siro as the current links – and former Real Madrid player – Theo Hernandez has accepted an offer to become a member of Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.
